Recently, we started an exploratory series with our college campuses. During each installment, we’ll focus on one Unitek campus, its programs, and the surrounding area. This information may be beneficial while you determine where you’d like to further your education. Today, we’re going to focus on one of our campuses in Northern California: Unitek Concord!
Our Concord Campus received accreditation in 2015 from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and offers various programs for the healthcare professionals of tomorrow. These include classes for aspiring Medical Assistants and Vocational Nurses, two occupations that fill critical roles on the healthcare team.

About the Campus
The Concord Campus is located near Willow Pass Road and State Route 242. There are numerous nearby stores and restaurants. There are also several parks, schools, and residences. There’s even a Six Flags Hurricane Harbor!
The campus occupies approximately 24,000 square feet and maintains 7 classrooms, 9 labs, and learning resource stations. Students also have access to a break room and a café within the building, not to mention administrative staff offices.

+ Efficient & Dynamic Instruction. Various Unitek programs prepare students by giving them access to healthcare facilities, simulation training, and extensive instruction. All of the programs at the Concord Campus can be completed in a year or less.
+ Class Sizes & Schedule. At the Concord Campus, the Medical Office Administration and Medical Assistant programs offer class sizes capped at 40 students. While it depends on the program, generally speaking, Unitek Concord is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm. On Saturday, they may be open for testing by appointment.
