What You’ll Learn
Our mission is to advance your nursing career. In two to three years, the Concord BSN program will prepare you for the NCLEX-RN certification exam and qualify you to pursue a Registered Nursing position in a variety of healthcare settings. By enrolling in our BSN courses, you will be trained to perform the following nursing duties and responsibilities:
- Recording patient medical histories and symptoms
- Administering patient medications and treatments
- Supporting and contributing to new or existing treatment plans
- Observing and recording patient health and responses to treatment
- Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals

BSN Program with a Career-Driven Curriculum
Because of our comprehensive nursing curriculum and training approach, our BSN graduates can follow a variety of career paths. Nurses with a BSN degree may pursue jobs in pediatrics, OB/GYN, ICU, hospice care, research, teaching, or healthcare management.
To provide you a rich and well-rounded learning experience, the Concord BSN program also incorporates lab simulations and online nursing classes. You will complete 120 units to earn your BSN degree. Furthermore, our nursing classes are delivered in a hybrid format. Some courses are presented in a traditional classroom, while others are completed on a virtual platform. That way, you can maintain your daily life responsibilities while pursuing your dream career.

Finished the nursing program at Unitek and it was fun but challenging. The school environment was very friendly and the staff members are great. As challenging as the program was, they were always very supportive and kept our motivation going.
The Concord Campus
Our campus is located in the Metroplex Office Centre at 1401 Willow Pass Road in Concord, California. The campus occupies portions of three floors and includes more than 35,000 square feet of space. Our BSN laboratories are fully equipped to simulate actual clinical settings and they contain many of the latest medical instruments and technologies, including medical mannequins.
To accommodate our students, we also maintain multiple classrooms, skills labs, computer labs, and learning resource stations. In between classes, students can enjoy their time in the campus lounge or café.
New Facilities
Our recently expanded Concord campus maintains several student facilities, including the student lounge, an onsite café, and multiple learning resource stations. Our BSN simulation labs are another great feature for many of our students. They are designed to provide realistic nursing scenarios to prepare you for the field.
A Convenient Platform
Online classes are a great component of our BSN program. Our virtual platform offers numerous benefits, such as flexible hours for coursework and assignments as well as 24/7 technical assistance. At Concord, we offer our students two pathways to earn their Bachelor’s in Nursing: 1) Full BSN program (no nursing experience) and 2) Advanced Placement (for current LVNs and LPNs).
At the end, with the help of Career Services, I ended up getting hired at the first place my resume was sent to, and I really enjoy it.

The city of Concord has several attractions that are available to students. It is home to numerous outdoor venues, hiking trails, and gardens. The town square in downtown Concord is home to the Todos Santos Plaza. This popular destination spans a full city block of community green space. How long is the Concord BSN program?
This is a pre-licensure program that can be completed in two to three years—depending on credit transfers—with three 16-week semesters per year.
Does Concord offer a bridge LVN-to-BSN program?
Licensed Vocational Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses can enroll in an LVN-to-BSN pathway at Unitek. This would allow LVNs who have completed certain General Education courses to apply for “Advanced Placement” status and potentially skip the first three semesters of the BSN program.
