I really appreciate the care and effort that was put in by Career Services. Towards the end of the program I was beginning to feel some doubts about getting a job but their whole process (with mock interviews) made me feel a lot more confident.

The Concord Campus

Our campus is located at 1401 Willow Pass Road in Concord, California. This location spans two floors and covers about 24,000 square feet of space. We maintain 7 classrooms, 9 labs, and various learning resource stations. Students in Concord have access to a breakroom and a café within the building. They can also schedule appointments with various administrative staff in the financial aid and career services departments.

Our renovated site includes clinical teaching wards and diagnostic equipment. In addition, Concord instructors utilize medical simulation mannequins (SIM) to better educate their students. Our campus received accreditation in 2015 from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and offers various programs for aspiring healthcare professionals. These include classes for future Medical Assistants and Vocational Nurses, two occupations that fill critical roles in the healthcare system.

Active Training

While some of our programs have computer-based components, they often utilize hands-on exercises and training simulations. Our VN program is designed to help you find a nursing externship that can also serve as an excellent networking opportunity for your future job prospects.

Flexible Schedule

All our programs feature comprehensive yet efficient coursework. They can be completed in a year or less. To accommodate our working students, we typically offer morning, midday, and evening classes. On Saturdays, we might be open for testing by appointment.

As a college student, the city of Concord has a lot to offer. For example, there are numerous hiking trails in Concord and the neighboring areas. The Contra Costa Canal Trail is a multi-use, whole-access trail that is one of the most popular walking paths in the Park District system. The trail’s paved pathway is suitable for bikers, runners, and individuals in wheelchairs. If you get a thrill from the great outdoors and prefer day trips, then you might consider making the trek to Mount Diablo. An hour’s drive from Concord, the mighty Mount Diablo boasts spectacular panoramic views.

If that sounds a little too adventurous for your taste, you can always visit the Ruth Bancroft Garden. Lovingly dubbed one of the best water-wise gardens, the Ruth Bancroft Garden is only a 15-minute drive from our Concord Campus. Decades of care have resulted in a 2.5-acre garden that contains more than 2,000 cacti, succulents, trees, and shrubs.
