Finished the nursing program at Unitek and it was fun but challenging. The school environment was very friendly and the staff members are great. As challenging as the program was, they were always very supportive and kept our motivation going.

The Bakersfield Campus

Our college occupies over 10,000 square feet at 333 Palmer Drive in Bakersfield, California. Not only is our campus in a convenient location, but we provide students with exciting programs and smaller class sizes. To accommodate our students, we maintain 4 classrooms, 2 skills labs, and 2 computer labs. You also have access to a student lounge and study area.

Bakersfield is currently one of two Unitek campuses that offers the BSN program. Our simulation lab alone is one of the most excellent learning resources for our aspiring nursing students. At Bakersfield, we are proud of our comprehensive yet efficient curriculums. Several of our programs will give you access to healthcare facilities, practical training, and expert instruction. In addition, most of our programs can be completed in a year or less.

Nursing Simulation Labs

Our BSN simulation labs are a great benefit for our students. They occupy the entire third floor of our campus and are designed to provide realistic nursing scenarios. In fact, all our programs offer hands-on labs to support student learning and simulation techniques. Our BSN program is also accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Virtual Platform

Online classes are another great component of our BSN program. A virtual platform can provide you with various benefits, such as flexible hours for coursework and assignments, as well as 24/7 technical assistance. We offer our students we two pathways to earn their Bachelor’s in Nursing: 1) Full BSN program (no nursing experience) and 2) Advanced Placement (for current LVNs).
