The Bakersfield Campus
Unitek College in Bakersfield received institutional accreditation in 2018 from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
Occupying over 10,000 square feet, the Bakersfield campus is framed by sunny skies and mountain views. We maintain various classrooms, skills labs, computer labs, and a student lounge. In addition, we maintain enough administrative offices and staff to adequately support students in their educational pursuits. Though it depends on each program’s schedule, our campus is typically open on weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
We aim to support our students in every way possible. Our labs, for example, are designed to foster an active and dynamic learning environment. We also encourage all our Medical Assisting students to form close bonds as they grow and develop into qualified healthcare professionals.
Unitek prides itself for preparing MA graduates to succeed in the field. This can be attributed to our small classer sizes and career-driven curriculums. While such credentials are not required to graduate, they may be of value depending on your particular career goals. Our faculty members are available to counsel students who wish to get certified.
