About the Vocational Nursing Program at South San Francisco
Our Vocational Nursing (VN) program in South San Francisco, California is designed with your schedule in mind. Although our VN courses are highly intensive and well-rounded, the program can still be completed in as little as 12 months. If night classes are better suited to your schedule, we also offer an evening program that typically takes 17 months to complete.
Students in our VN program learn through a combination of expert lectures, simulation training, and hands-on exercises. We also maintain a highly supportive NCLEX review team that’s led by our Senior VN Instructor and VN Program Director. VN Program with a Career-Driven Curriculum
The primary objective of our Vocational Nursing program is to prepare students for licensure and entry-level nursing employment. To achieve this, we provide our students with the resources and settings to deliver the richest learning experience possible.
Our classrooms have individual desks, whiteboards, and projectors, while our lab rooms are equipped with patient care stations that simulate real hospital settings. Each lab contains IV poles, enteral feeding pumps, blood pressure cuffs, scales, patient mannequins, and equipment to practice routine nursing procedures.

The South San Francisco location occupies more than 7,000 square feet, where we maintain multiple classrooms, skills labs, and computer centers. Our students can also access our campus library, student lounge, and several administrative offices, including admissions, career-services, and financial aid.
