Unitek College assists students with passing the NCMA (National) certification. We integrate national benchmark testing, remediation and a NCMA Prep course throughout the curriculum. Training labs are a great way to develop and master real-world skills. Our Medical Assisting program prides itself on the fact that from the first day our students walk in the door, and every day they attend class, they get hands on training in our medical assistant lab. We collaborate with institutions that hire our graduates to ensure that our students are fully prepared with both the knowledge and skills that are in-demand.

There are multiple stations within each room, allowing students the time they need to get familiar with key industry skills. Classrooms are equipped with centrifuges, microscopes, autoclaves, and other tools that are used in medical settings. Students are taught and supervised carefully until they progress to a level where they can practice independently. Unitek College’s students get a comprehensive set of skills and training that allow them to work in both the front-office and back-office settings of healthcare facilities.

Unitek College offers Federal Financial Aid to those that qualify. If you are uncertain of whether or not you qualify, please ask our Financial Aid department. If you are unemployed, you may qualify for financial grants through governmental and local organizations such as the Employment Development Department (EDD).

We engineered our program to prepare you for today's job market. The program utilizes both classroom & lab learning modules, with the option of part-time completion. The final month will be a full-time externship. We specifically designed the classroom, lab and externship training to cover all aspects a Medical assistant would require to secure employment. We offer classes in Day, Afternoon or Evening schedules to allow you the flexibility to continue your current life while furthering your education.
