Pharmacy Technician National Certification Passing Assistance!
Unitek College assists students with the passing of the PTCB (National) certification so they can become Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhTs). In fact, we are so confident that our students will pass the PTCB exam to become CPhTs, that we pay the exam fee for them. Should one of our students not pass the PTCB national exam the first time after satisfactory completion of our training program, Unitek College will pay for their second attempt! Unitek College offers Federal Financial Aid to those that qualify at certain campus locations. If you are uncertain of whether or not you qualify, please ask our Financial Aid department. If you are unemployed, you may qualify for financial grants through governmental and local organizations such as the Employment Development Department (EDD).

Completion of our entire Pharmacy Technician Program will take a student 33 weeks. In this period, students will complete an externship. We specifically designed the classroom, lab and externship training to cover all aspects a Pharmacy Technician would require to secure employment. We offer classes in Day, Afternoon or Evening schedules to allow you the flexibility to continue your current life while furthering your education. We even offer a flexible 4-day schedule (evenings only) that permits Fridays off – now you can enjoy three-day weekends. Our program begins with new students every five weeks. The program price includes all textbooks, workbooks, lab fees, uniforms (2), employment services, and backpack. Unitek College also pays for your state board registration and livescan fingerprinting fees. We’ve got you covered.

The cost of the PTCB exam is included in the cost of your tuition. We integrate national benchmark testing, remediation and a PTCB Prep course throughout the curriculum. This is all included in the cost of the program. Please refer to your enrollment package for more details.

Unitek College invests in its students by providing advanced pharmaceutical labs and classrooms. While in class, we provide each student their own personal computer equipped with a flat panel monitor. Our students also have access to an extensive pharmaceutical learning library and student cafeteria equipped with vending machines.
