Unitek College Receives Commendation of Business Excellence from Lieutenant Governor
Tuesday March 6, 2007 - Unitek College received certification of business excellence and was honored as one of the latest SACTO-assisted companies locating and expanding in the Sacramento region from the Lieutenant Governor of California, SureWest, City of Sacramento, SACTO and Sacramento Magazine.

Unitek College has demonstrated industrious efforts and an outstanding commitment to serving the Sacramento community. I applaud them for their valuable contributions to enhancing the economic vitality of our Golden State. Unitek College is excited to bring educational opportunities to the Sacramento Region because it is one of only two regions that have made it through the past four years with positive job creation and very strong population growth. All this occurred at the same time that the state was suffering through the worst budget situation in its history and was forced to downsize.
We are honored to have received this commendation from the Lt Governor and the People of California said Unitek College CEO Paul Afshar. Our first rate facilities and teachers have been instrumental to our success and rapid growth in the Sacramento Area. We have recently added an accelerated RN program which we are confident will continue to meet the demand for qualified nurses in the health care industry.
