Our LVN and RN classrooms feature 40 flat screen computer stations with plenty of desk space for our students to also place their text books and all other materials on.
Professors have access to large dry erasable white boards as well as multimedia technologies such as ceiling mounted projectors that can be connected to a computer and Televisions with DVD/VCR capabilities.
But, above all, Unitek College prides itself on our "real life" scenario laboratories. Also located on the same premises and exclusively available to only our students, Unitek College's laboratories feature the latest and greatest technologies, all very carefully assembled to closely match an identical real world working hospital room.
Our newest "permanent residents" of Unitek College are "The Sim Family." These amazing new manikins cost around $30,000 each and they are worth every penny. They feature the ability for our students to perform various procedures and in the process experience the sights and sounds that mimic that of a real patient. This includes a pulse that is displayed on an EKG machine and can actually flat line, as well as crying sounds from the Sim Baby.
