Career Services
Unitek College provides professional development, externship placement and employment assistance. Each student receives a Career Services Coordinator at the beginning of their program, who helps guide them through their career path. Although we cannot guarantee employment, the Career Services team will equip you with the tools needed to find and maintain employment. The department is staffed with full-time professionals that will guide you in building your career. Our number one goal is to assist graduates with employment in their new career field.
Employment Assistance
The Career Services Department assists students and graduates with the following:
- Career development planning, career coaching and interview skills
- Assist students in creating a professional resume and cover letter, establish references, and prepare thank you notes/letters
- Build on communication and public speaking skills
- Job search techniques and networking skills
- Hospital volunteer opportunities
- Professional development in a business setting
- Review strategies to dress for success
- Career development workshops
- Electronic and “Hot” Job leads
